Terms and site disclaimer
This page keeps the website honest about what it is: information and a way to reach us, not a contract.
The tools and guides are guidance, not quotes
The Driveway Scope, the guides and every figure on this site exist to help you think about a move clearly. They are general guidance based on the shapes of houses and moves common around Davidson and the Forest: Frenchs Forest, Forestville, Belrose, East Killara, St Ives and the streets between. They are not a survey of your property, a fixed quote, or a promise about hours. The scope's crew suggestions and any worked examples of hourly arithmetic are illustrations; the real numbers for your move get agreed in conversation, after a real scope.
How a real booking works
A move becomes an agreement when we've discussed your job, agreed the crew tier, rate and day with you directly, and you've confirmed. Until then, nothing on this site (and nothing the scope tool tells you) commits you or us to anything.
Pricing
The hourly rates published on this site ($250, $350 and $500 an hour by crew size) are the genuine rates and each tier has one price. Hours vary with volume and access, which is exactly why we scope; any total you compute from a rate and a guessed duration is your arithmetic, not our quote.
Images and illustrations
Some images on this site are illustrative (stock or generated) rather than photographs of specific local jobs, and the scope's drawings are schematics, not surveys. They exist to show how we work, not to document particular houses or people.
Content and links
Guides are written in good faith for the housing stock around Davidson and reviewed for honesty, but every house is its own case: measure your own beams, and treat external links (regulators, industry bodies) as their authors' work, not ours.
The form
Sending an enquiry costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Details you send are handled per the privacy page. Don't submit someone else's details without their okay (family arranging a parent's move with their knowledge is exactly fine, and common).
